Following the Beverley Christmas Lights switch on event on Friday evening, this year’s sponsor, QualitySolicitors Lockings were delighted with the proceedings and the appearance of Olympic Gold Medallist, Luke Campbell.
The evening began with live music from Beverley’s Unsigned Live and Longcroft School Gospel Choir. The atmosphere set on festive in the Wednesday Market area of the town as crowds gathered in anticipation of meeting the local hero who announced the birth of his second child the following morning.
Stephen Dettman, Partner at QualitySolicitors Lockings who has offices in Beverley, Hull and Hedon commented:
“This is the first year that the Beverley Christmas Lights Appeal Group had an overall sponsor and as a firm we are delighted to take this role. Friday night was fantastic, the atmosphere was spectacular as the musicians really set the scene with their festive songs which helped to draw the crowds.”
“As a local business, we enjoy being involved with the local community. Each year the Beverley Christmas Lights Group works hard to fundraise but with extra help from successful local businesses, they are able to add more lights, making the town a sight to behold.”
“QualitySolicitors Lockings also launched a competition to win a new iPad. Entrants can participate by completing an entry form available from their Beverley, Hull and Hedon offices and the WH Smith Legal Access Points in Beverley and Hull. The winner will be announced on Friday 14th December.”
“As part of our marketing and PR strategy, we sponsor a variety of local events around East Yorkshire. This has proven to increase our profile and find it makes us, as a firm of solicitors more accessible to our selected audience. Most people will require the advice of a solicitor during their lifetime and we aim to be the first thought of when legal support is required for people in this area.”
