A single goal from Nicky Clarke was enough to ensure AFC Tickton Ladies got 2013 off to a winning start at Longcroft School.
The 1 – 0 win over Courts City FC lifts AFC Tickton Ladies to seventh place in the East Riding County Womens Football League.
Next weekend, AFC Tickton will travel to Lelley Lane to face second placed AFC Preston.
