Beavers Are Keen To Play This Week Says Posa

Beverley RUFC Head Coach Anthony Posa is anxiously studying weather forecasts and hoping for a nice steady thaw for the rest of this week and over the coming weekend, to enable Saturday’s fixture against Morley to take place.

Speaking at training he said,

“Our injury situation looks much better after a week off due to last Saturday’s postponement of the Middlesbrough game, and we are keen to play this week so as to gain our revenge over Morley and at the same time increase our lead over them in the league table. ”

“I am positive we learnt from our experience at Morley in October where we turned what should of been a victory into defeat, particularly after scoring 2 tries to nil, and I know this still hurts us as a squad.

We have worked hard on our discipline since then and we are determined to make amends on Saturday. Having said that Morley are also on a good run and we will need to be at our best.”

Selection will be made on Friday from the following squad:-

R.Bussey, L.Birch, G.Jelencic,S.Atiola, J.Tupai (capt), T.Tanumi, P.Duboulay, R.Smith, E.Ryan, M.Kirkwood, K.Renwick, A.Ogilvie, M.Hatfield, G.Gibson, S.Nel,C.Bradshaw, N.Sharp, T.Riby-French, J.Pickets, D.Worrall, J.Holland
