Jacquelines Of Beverley Shine At The Deep Wedding Fayre

Thursday night saw The Deep host its annual wedding fayre with guests to the event being welcomed with a glass of wine and the opportunity to sample the delicious canapés from the deeps in house chefs.

An impressive list of exhibitors drew record numbers of brides through its doors with over 700 people attending the event which was held over three floors and is a showcase for the best of the areas bridal suppliers.

The highlight of the evening was the catwalk shows by Jacquelines of Beverley whose impressive range of gowns kept guests glued to their seats for both shows with standing room only, and the scenes even included a run of bridal lingerie!

Brides were treated to an impressive range of dresses from designers such as Justin Alexander, Ronald Joyce and Verise to name but a few.

Jacqueline Thompson said;

“Brides are so diverse in their taste and are looking to express their individuality with their choice of bridal gown and as an independent bridal boutique, we feel that we can help them achieve that. Our gowns range from wildly romantic fairytale to vintage chic, and we are delighted to have recently become stockist of the Justin Alexander collection.”

“Justin is a multi award winning British designer, and we thrilled to champion the best of our home-grown talent. In addition, it was great to work with the Mark Hill team that had just returned from the BAFTAS, and they did a superb job of styling my models and we now planning a number of other events to work on together.”

Becky Leach, Marketing Manager at The Deep said:

“We were delighted to see so over 700 people attend the wedding fayre, but couldn’t have made the event so successful without the help of Jacqueline’s and Anthony’s Menswear that did the catwalk shows with us.”

“They are a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend them whole heartedly to anyone planning a wedding.”

All in all, the deep seems to be an event that future brides should mark in their diary for next year.
