Hornsea Town crashed out of the Whiteheads Fish & Chips League Cup losing 3 -1 at home to Reckitts AFC.
Hornsea took an early lead in the first half but couldn’t hold on to that advantage, as Reckitts pulled a goal back before the break. Reckitts continued to push forward in the second period and scored a second goal to ease the pressure.
Hornsea just couldn’t find a way through the Reckitts defence and with 20 minutes left, Hornsea were punished again as Ricketts made the game safe with their third and final goal and booked their place in the next round of the Cup.
