Military and civilian staff at the Defence School of Transport have said a fond farewell to their Commandant, Colonel Paul Ash who leaves to become the Commander of HQ Royal Logistic Corps TA in Grantham.
Looking back at his 3 years as Commandant at DST, Colonel Ash said “DST has seen an enormous amount of change this last 5-6 years and none more so then in the last 3 years.
The demand to do more with less is ever present and it’s due to the outstanding efforts of all the staff that have put us in such a strong position for the future. Many thanks to all of my staff and the local community for supporting our activities.”
Although sad to see Colonel Paul leave, the staff at DST have extended a very warm welcome to their new Commandant, Colonel Rob Peacock. Colonel Peacock said
“I am delighted to be posted as Commandant, Defence School of Transport and especially working in the East Riding of Yorkshire.”
“I am also looking forward to exploring this lovely part of Yorkshire with my wife, Diane.”
