The Beverley Braves U11s were beaten by Hull Isberg 34-16 at the Beverley Leisure Centre in the Hull and District Youth Rugby League.
Throughout the game, the Braves showed great heart but struggled to come to terms with a couple of the big lads that were playing for the visitors.
Next weekend, the Beverley Braves will hit the road as they face the Myton Warriors in the cup.
Beverley Braves man of the match was awarded to William Wallis.
