North Ferriby United took a vital three points to keep them at the top of the Evostick Northern Premier Division.
The only goal of the game came from the penalty spot in which Ryan Kendall sent the Chorley keeper the wrong way to the delight of the home fans.
In the second half Ferriby couldn’t turn their possession and hard work into goals, but never looked in any danger of throwing it away with Chorley limited to the long range shots and set pieces.
Ferriby face Ashton United at home in their final league knowing a win will crown them Champions.
Final Score: Ferriby United 1 Chorley 0
