Beverley Town Cricket Club U18s beat Beeford U18s in the first league game of the season at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
With several regulars missing captain Matthew Saint led his side to victory at Norwood. Batting first Beeford scored 193 all out with wickets for Brad Graham, Charlie Bough , Greg Whyley and Saint.
Beverley then scored 194- 5 with Greg Whyley scored his maiden half century with 53 not out, Tom Norton 32 , Mike Cooke 33 not out And Brad Graham 21.
A good winning start for the young Beverley team.
