Beverley squash player Zac Toes (10) followed up his success at the Ilkley Junior Open by winning his second national title in 2 weeks at the Under 11 Chapel Allerton Open in Leeds on the 18 May 2013.
Toes the No2 seed for the event swept all before him by completing his two group matches over Matthew Major (Lancashire) 11-1, 11-2 & Cory Harding (Merseyside)11-0, 11-2 before defeating the latter’s older brother Lewis Harding (England 42) 11-0, 11-4 in the Semi Final.
In the final Toes defeated Daniel Neill (Northumbria & England No13) 11-3, 11-9 to secure the championship victory.
Following back to back wins, Toes will be hoping for a boost in his national ranking which currently stands at England No 16 before travelling to Manchester on the 1st & 2nd June for the National Under 11 Championships at Sportcity.
