Beverley Town Cricket Club’s Newland XI hosted Hull CC at the Norwood Recreation Ground in the Tuesday night Newland League.
Beverley won the toss and decided to have a bat, but they were soon all back in the pavilion as Hull blasted through the Newland XI.
Wickets fell quite quickly as Beverley were bowled out in just ten over’s for a score of 70.
Hull CC took required only eight over’s to pick off the Beverley total as the visitors went on to win the match by seven wickets.
