Beverley Armed Forces day which takes place on Sunday 7th July and is set to feature an open-air concert at the end of the event for the first time.
Organiser Cllr David Elvidge is keen to make use of the stage and has lined up a number of local acts that will take to the stage and perform.
The fifth Armed Forces Day to be held in Beverley will also see troops exercise their freedom rights, which were granted by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council back in 2010.
However, this year funding has proven to be tight and the event organisers are looking for any businesses or would be sponsors that would like to help this great event that gives the public a chance to show their support to those who serve their country to make contact.
Anyone should who feels they can help should contact Cllr Elvidge on 07859 191573.
