Beverley’s Lois Brown won a gold medal at Venray International Judo competition held in Holland.
With no juniors to fight in her class, the UK78kgs Brown made the step up to the seniors and beat girls from Holland, Luxembourg and Germany on her way to winning the gold medal.
Brown said;
“I felt strong and was in good form ahead of the competition. I am really pleased all the hard work paid off, and that I am coming away with a gold medal.”
