Tesco Beverley’s Step Challenge Raises £545 For Diabetes UK

Tesco’s Beverley store, together with all other Tesco stores in the UK were taking part in a 90,000 step challenge last Saturday in a bid to raise money for Diabetes UK, Tesco’s national charity partner.

Staff from the Morton Lane store took turns on the step board to help raise awareness of the condition and a variety of fundraising activities were held to support the day. A total of £545 was raised in customer donations.

Dave Ryley, Tesco Beverley’s Community Champion, said:

“We would like to thank all of our customers for their fantastic support on Saturday and for helping us raise so much money for Diabetes UK’’.
