Following the weekend’s festivities, partners at cba accountants have concluded that being a part of the Beverley Folk Festival is vitally important to help raise its profile but also to be a contributing member of the community.
Chris Brown says:
“The festival was bigger than previous years and although organisers took a gamble moving it to the race course, it certainly paid off as the venue lends itself perfectly as a festival village.”
“The thing I love about going to a festival is that you never know what you’re going to get, it’s great when you pass one of the marquees, hear someone performing and walk in to be blown away by a performer you’ve never seen before.”
“This year we sponsored Edinburgh author, Ian Rankin who read excerpts from one of his novels with interludes from his musician friends. His show was very popular with a full house and even the rain hammering down on the marquee added to the atmosphere.”
“It is important that successful businesses continue to help the town thrive. I am happy that we contributed to the folk festival which attracted thousands of people to events from Friday to Sunday and look forward to finding out who will be performing next year.”
