A strong Driffield 4ths proved too good for Beverley Town Cricket Club 4ths at the Norwood Recreation Ground as the visitors rattled up 240 all out on a great batting track.
Neil Graham (4-55), Jake McMullen (2-27), James Turner (2-26) and Iain Sugdon (2-10 from 11overs) took the Driffield wickets.
Debutant 13 year old Will Harrison turned in a good performance behind the stumps for Town.
Captain Rich Simpson (33) was the only top order Town batsman to really get going until Graham (44) gave the innings a boost later on.
Sugdon made 19 but the saviour of the innings was Harrison who completed an excellent debut with an unbeaten 16 in Town’s 165 for 7.
