Beverley’s Coronation Gardens were officially re-opened after undergoing a makeover.
The project which was coordinated by Rosemary Major has seen a number of new trees and benches, which have been installed around a special commemorative stone.
Guests at the opening toasted the queen. Sandy Patience Chairman of the Beverley Civic Society gave a short talk as did the May or Beverley Martin Cox.
Work was made possible through donations by Beverley Lions, Beverley Rotary Club, the North Bar 600 committee, private individuals and East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
