Beverley Town Cricket Club 2nd XI lost to Driffield 2nd XI at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Beverley got off to a decent start through Tim Smith (50) and Greg Whyley (40) but once again the middle order failed and Town were indebted to Steve Blake (30 no) and Pete Parnaby for helping their side to an average 204 for 8.
Town claimed two early wickets but Driffield eventually reached 208 for 5 with an over to spare.
