Local retailer, Evans Halshaw in Beverley, is delighted to announce that the recently launched Vauxhall ADAM will be the first car in its class that drivers can hold a conversation with!
When fitted with Vauxhall’s innovative IntelliLink infotainment system, the urban-chic city car is now available with full integration for Siri Eyes Free, the unique and intelligent iPhone Integration assistant from Apple that helps drivers get things done whilst behind the wheel, simply by asking.
ADAM drivers can give voice commands to the car and receive a verbal response back. Using a steering wheel-mounted button, customers with a compatible iPhone* can instruct Siri Eyes Free to perform a number of tasks, whilst enabling them to keep their hands on the wheel and their eyes firmly on the road ahead.

ADAM owners whose models are equipped with the IntelliLink infotainment system will now be able to use Siri Eyes Free for all sorts of voice-activated commands, from making hands-free calls and playing music without scrolling through libraries, to accessing calendar appointments and configuring alarm and notification settings.
“What’s more, ADAM drivers can listen to, compose and send an iMessage, text message or email to anyone saved in their Contacts and of course, Siri also answers simple questions such as what the weather is doing or when the next public holiday is.”
Setting a new standard
The Vauxhall ADAM is the first car in its class with Internet access via voice activation and Siri is available free of charge in all IntelliLink-equipped ADAMs ordered from Evans Halshaw today.
What’s more, customers who already own a Vauxhall ADAM with IntelliLink will not miss out, as they will be able to benefit from a free update for Siri Eyes Free, available at the retailer from this month (July) and which is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, as well as Android devices.
Plus, the IntelliLink system can be continually updated to ensure customers’ in-car infotainment is just as up to date as their mobile communication.
