To celebrate one year on from London 2012, a Paralympic Legacy Festival is being held at Longcroft School, Beverley on Friday 26 July 2013.
The event is open to young people with additional needs aged between 7–18 years and will provide an opportunity to take part in a number of sport and play taster activities including football, archery, athletics and cricket.
Adam Swann, Community Sports Coach said: “The legacy festival will showcase some of the activities that are currently available to people with disabilities and bring a number of projects together as one to celebrate.”
The festival is free of charge however booking is essential as places are limited.
