Tesco’s Beverley store, together with all other Tesco stores in the UK were taking part in a Summer sports fun day last Saturday in a bid to raise money for Diabetes UK, Tesco’s national charity partner.
Tesco staff member Rachael Hiscott joined in by hula hooping non-stop for over two hours with shoppers and staff encouraged to challenge her.
A variety of other fund-raising activities were held to help raise awareness of the condition and a total of £227 was raised in customer donations.
