Affordable Warmth Scheme Is Supported By A Local Business

The Affordable Warmth Scheme has been introduced by the government to help owners or tenants in a private property who receive certain state benefits to reduce their fuel bills with a replacement boiler.

Teckno Services based in Beverley are part of the Affordable Warmth Government scheme and are a local reputable company who want to reassure those who have concerns about the scheme that local tradesmen are available to attend a site survey.

This is comforting to know especially due to the high level of canvassing currently taking place in the East Riding. Many residents have already been contacted asking them to reveal the benefits they currently have to establish if they qualify and then trying to arrange a site survey.

Many of these calls are genuine and the follow up survey will use accredited tradesman, but they may not be local.

Peter Brady director of Teckno Services said;

“This is an excellent government scheme which we are proud to support and we appreciate that many of the residents who meet the criteria usually watch every penny and the cost of a new boiler is likely to be out of reach.”

“Helping people who need it the most to reduce their fuel bills is a responsibility the company aspires to.”
