Beverley Town Cricket Club lost to Sewerby CC by seven wickets in the bank holiday cliff top clash on the Bridlington coast.
Batting first Beverley struggled to cope with the Sewerby bowling attact, Russ Robinson claimed four wickets as Beverley were dismissed for just 136 runs.
Anthony Spence was Beverley’s top scorer with 61 but in the end, he gave his wicket away cheaply.
In Reply, Sewerby romped home losing just three wickets as they scored 138 for the loss of three wickets. Robinson top scored with for the home side with 156 capping off a good day’s cricket with the bat and ball.
