Glorious weather and some of the best riders in the country attracted thousands of race fans to Cadwell Park for round 8 of the British Super Bikes.
Local British Super bike star James Westmoreland on bike No27 found it hard going over the two races, finishing 10th and 9th respectively though he does close the gap on fellow team mate Jon Kirkham for that all important 6th placed finish.
British Super Bike leader Shane Byrne on bike No67 sponsored by Hull based firm Rapid solicitors also didn’t have his best ride coming in 2nd and 4th giving the very impressive Alex Lowes a double victory on his home circuit.
Beverley’s Dominic Usher was competing in the National Superstock 1000 Championship on his G&S Racing Kawasaki bike No12 where he finished in a well earned 16th place out of 36 riders.
