Beverley Whitestar Falcons were beaten as the East Riding Girls Football League got under way.
Playing at the Beverley Leisure Centre Hessle Town Girls cruised to victory as they beat Whitestar 7 – 1.
Elsewhere in the league there was opening day wins for Mill Lane United Yellows and Mill Lane United U16s.
Next up for Beverley Whitestar is a trip to the coast as they face Hornsea Sporting FC.
