The Beverley Braves enjoyed a morning training session with Hull FC’s Mark O’Meley.
O’Meley who is from Australia joined Hull FC back in 2010 from the Sydney Roosters took the young players through a series of training drills.
Aron Brown who arranged the session with Super League star said;
“I know Mark as my father in law sponsors the player, so I approached him about coming down to hold a coaching session with the Bevelrey Braves.”
“He has been with the club for three years and is retiring this season and will be returning home to Australia.”
“For the kids it was great to have an iconic figure like Mark that young players of Rugby League can look up to. He spent time with them coaching, signing shirts and posing for photos.”
