Ten men Beverley Town gave a good account of themselves though were beaten by Hessle Rangers in the cup.
Town went into the game against Rangers who play in a higher league knowing the match would be a be ask with a full team let alone playing with a man less.
Beverley were reduced to ten mean after Jake Farrell was taken to hospital with what was thought to be damaged knee ligaments.
Rangers won the match 4 – 1 with Aden Elm getting Beverley’s only goal. Despite the defeat, Town’s manager was very pleased with the side praising all the players for their efforts.
