Beverley Charity Pumpkin Carving Competition A Real Success

A pumpkin carving contest held in Beverley has raised close to £200 for the Beverley Lights Christmas Appeal.

There were a total of 17 entries into this competition that was organised in association with Blue Canoe which was held at the end of October.

Debbie Bartlett of Blue Canoe said;

“We appreciate the time and effort that people took to enter the competition, and hope to see you and your artistic talents again next year.

“Congratulations to all our winners, Kristoffer Rena who was voted the overall winner, Fresh and Fruity who won best business entry. Gareth won in the best over 16 and Kester for winning the under 16 competition.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our day and we hope that everyone else did too. We are already looking forward to next year’s event and hope that you can join us, if you dare.”
