The local Orienteering club, Humberside and Lincolnshire Orienteers (HALO) are organising an additional Orienteering event this Sunday (December 8th) on Beverley Westwood.
The Westwood is always a very popular orienteering area, as it provides physical and technical challenges in the former quarry areas as well as easier path routes for beginners.
The event is very suitable for families or individuals and coaching will be available if required. Parking and registration will be at Longcroft School from 10:00 to 12 noon.
The event will attract orienteers from across Yorkshire, but will also feature courses for beginners. There will be a walk from the school to the starting area on The Westwood. Starts will be anytime between 10:30 and 12:30 and courses will close at 2:30pm..
Entry fees are £6 for adults and £3 for juniors.

HALO also runs a weekly club night at Beverley Longcroft School on Mondays (6:30pm to 8:00pm) during term-time. New members always welcome.
