The Brink Christmas Fair @ Molescroft Pavilion

Molescroft Pavilion was the focal point for a community event that brought people together to share in some festive spirit.

Organiser Ali Crompton said;

“The Brink Christmas Fair was the first Christmas event we have organised for the community of Molescroft.”

“Despite the weather we had a good turnout of people from the local community to enjoy Carols by Candlelight from Beverley Brass Band and a variety of gift and craft stalls.”

“We also had a raffle with prizes donated from local businesses and a Rudolph Rodeo with a prize of an Audi A5 for a weekend for the person who could stay on the longest.”

The Christmas event was a follow on from the Picnic At The Pavilion event and several other gatherings that have been organised.

More community events are been planed, Ali added;

“We have further events being planned for 2014 with details soon to be released but will feature wine tasting, a ladies pamper evening & a curry night.”

The Brink are members of Beverley Community Church with the aim to serve the village of Molescroft and to provide opportunities
for the whole community to come together to support each other.

He added;

“Imagine a community where no one is lonely. Imagine a community where we look out for our neighbours.”

“Imagine a community where we support and help each other in the small ways that make a big difference. That is our hope for The Brink.”
