Beverley Lions 2014 Fun Run

Beverley Lions 2014 Fun Run

Over a hundred runners turned out on New Years Day for the Beverley Lions Annual Fun Run.

Starting from the Market Cross on Saturday Market those taking part were given the option of three different course that ranged from 3KM to 10KM.

There were a number of runners from Beverley Athletic Club also turning out for the event including their former press officer Kay Farrow.

Other runners included Alan Dale who put in a good effort finishing the distance inside a hour but he was again beaten by the Flying Scotsman Graham McKay.

This year there was certainly more people taking part than in previous years and there was also plenty of support for all the runners as they set off and returned to cross the finish line.
