A new bridal shop is opening for business on Mill Lane, in Beverley.
The Wedding Collection stocks an impressive range of wedding dresses and wedding accessories that can all be purchased at internet prices and taken away the same day.
Owner Ali Hornby has run a successful shop in Hornsea for the past 11 years, and says opening a shop in Beverley is a step forward for her business.
She said: “We have been trading for 11 years and are already established in Hornsea. The move to Beverley will see the Hornsea branch focus on prom and clearance lines, while our shop in Beverley will be dedicated to weddings.
“We stock wedding dresses from size 6 through to size 30. They range in price from £250 to £900, all of which are discounted to give customers savings of up to 50% on each gown.
“Coming to Beverley means we are nearer to the motorway and the town also offers better access than the Freeport in Hornsea – we are just moving with the times and think this is a perfect location.”
Inside, they have done a great job in installing large fitting rooms, which will be needed as they stock 700 bridal gowns at any one time!
Ali continued: “Customers will be able to buy everything at online prices, either through our website or in store.”
Ali believes Wedding Collection also takes the worry out of internet ordering by having such a good range of stock available all the time.
She continued:
“We do not order wedding gowns in, everything is sold off the peg which gives brides peace of mind knowing they have got the dress they want.”
“You can come into our shop, try it on and take your wedding dress away the same day.”
This takes away all the worry for the bride, not knowing if what they have ordered will turn up and when does if it is right.”
The Wedding Collection have dresses from ten different designers, including their own brand called Philipa Grace, and are the UK’s biggest stockist of gowns by Venus Bridal.
