Staff at the Beverley Garden Centre were presented with a certificated of appreciation after they raised over £1200 for the Beverley Lions.
Staff at the Beverley Garden Centre held Santa’s Grotto to raise money with over 500 children going to visit the Father Christmas.
Store manager Adam Ratcliffe told HU17.net;
“This is the second year we have done this and we managed to raise more money than the first year and are slowly building things up.”
“I would like to thank all our customers, thanks to their generosity many people in the local community will benefit from their efforts.”
The Beverley Garden Centre work with the Beverley Lions as the group support multiple charities on a local level.
Adam added;
“The Lions do a fantastic job helping with so many different charities, groups and organisations in the area. It is nice to know that all we have raised over Christmas will help lots of people.”
Les Ford president of the Beverley Lions said;
“On behalf of the Beverley Lions I would like to thank Adam and his team for providing the Grotto and presents, the money raised will be put to good use.”
