Lawyer Chris Hutchinson is to tackle the London Marathon as he looks to raise money for Contact a Family, a charity that supports children with any type of disability.
Chris who works for Murray Hills Solicitors who is no marathon runner will take on the 26 mile challenge with his son Peter, Chris.
The father and son duo have completed the Humber Bridge Half Marathon though Chris is under no illusions that the London Marathon will be a massive test, he said;
“When I started to run a few years ago, to try to keep fit, and to keep my eldest son happy, I never thought that I would end up participating in the London Marathon.”
“My son Pete and I somehow survived the Humber Bridge Half Marathon last year, we just could not resist having a shot at the greatest run of them all.”
“We are both very pleased with the Charity we have chosen to run for, which is contact a family.”
“Although I am running the London Marathon, I am not a Marathon Runner, as those who know me will testify. My aim is simply to get over the finish line.”
“Believe me, it is a challenge, but one I am determined to rise up to!”
