Dance And Drama School Expands Into Beverley

A Bishop Burton-based Dance and Drama  School is expanding into Beverley with the launch of a new programme of dance classes.

The new classes will start in May at BeverleyMinsterPrimary School and will include ballet and tap for children from two and a half years to ten.

Inspire School of Dance and Drama was founded by 25-year-old Katie Yeo who studied dance and musical theatre at Laine Theatre Arts, one of the most prestigious professional dance colleges in London.  Upon graduating with honours, Katie, who is originally from Etton, returned to the local area in 2010 to set up her own dance school after falling in love with teaching during her time at college.

The Inspire School of Dance and Drama currently has branches in Bishop Burton, Hutton Cranswick and Molescroft Pavilion and has over 100 students ranging from ages 2.5 to sixty +

Katie, explained: “Due to the overwhelming success of the school there is now a need for me to expand, and from the interest expressed and enquires I have received from Beverley and surrounding areas I have concluded that there is a demand for me to establish classes within the area and I can’t wait to get started!

“Since opening the school  in 2010, the school has grown year-on-year and we now have over 100  students taking part in ballet, tap, street dance, contemporary and theatre works’’

The classes will take place on Saturday Mornings and start on 3RD May 2014, with prices starting from £4. The timetable is as follows:
