Beverley squash players Lydia Robinson and Zac Toes secured fine victories at the National County Cup in Birmingham on 13 April in a team event which consisted of 2 boys and 2 girls.
Having been called up to represent the U15 Yorkshire Team, both players who are still 11 swept aside opponents from Gloucestershire 3-0 in the semi final alongside team mates Harry Anderson (Scarborough) and Laura Longfield (Pontefract).
In the final Toes got Yorkshire off to a great start by beating his Warwickshire opponent 11-2, 11-2, 11-3 before Robinson sealed victory and the National Cup with a hard fought 9-11, 11-9, 11-6, 11-7 victory.
Both players will now hope to take their good form into the Allam Humber Silver Open in May.
