Beverley Leisure Centre is holding a course leading towards the STA Swim Teachers Award – Level 2, that is the first course on the ladder to become a Swim Teacher.
The trainee teachers require children to teach during their course that is running from Tuesday, 27 until Friday, 30 May.
They’re offering children swimming lessons for £4 for the week and there will be a maximum of five children in each lesson.
There are various times and grades available from Pre-school one to six and Grade One to Grade Four for the week. Places are restricted and are offered on a first come first serve basis.
All teachers will be overseen by a STA Tutor and examined by a STA Tutor, however the children that the trainee teachers are teaching will not be assessed at the end of the course.
