Graham Stuart

Member of Parliament for Beverley and Holderness, Graham Stuart visited the Citizens Advice Bureau in Beverley to hear more about the work of the centre and to thank the volunteers for the valuable work they do to support local residents.

The Citizens Advice Bureau is located on Lairgate in Beverley and is open from 10am – 4pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Commenting about the visit, Graham said, “Citizens Advice is a vital service for individuals from all walks of life; it offers free and impartial advice to help people resolve the problems they face in the course of everyday life.

“This may be problems with debt, benefits, employment, housing or discrimination to highlight but a few as there are many more issues handled at the centre. The service is available to anyone and is strictly confidential. If the CAB Advisors can’t assist with a problem then they will know who can and will make a referral to that service.

“Advice may be given face-to-face, by phone or by email.

“The volunteers at the CAB in Beverley do an excellent job, giving their time and expertise free of charge to help others navigate their problems. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to them for the work they do.”
