Chris Hutchinson, a director and Solicitor in the firm Murray Hills, and his son Pete partook in the London Marathon this year in aid of Contact a Family.
Chris managed to raise a very impressive £1,108.75, with Chris’s local, the Roos Arms in Roos near Hull, raising an amazing £135 of the total.
Chris said;
“Thanks again to all of you who sponsored me. I know it can be difficult to part with a fiver, never mind more, in these difficult times.”
Chris raised the money for Contact a Family which is the only national charity that exists to support the families of disabled children whatever their condition or disability.
Chris added;
“At the end of the run we were both presented with lovely pictures done by some of the disabled children they have had contact with.”
“If any of you are thinking of doing anything similar for charity, please consider doing it for this particular charity.”
Murray Hills Solicitors managing Director, Mr Keith Murray, has pledged to match the amount raised by Chris meaning they are also donating £1,108.75 to Contact a Family, making a total of £2,217.50 for this wonderful course.
Keith said;
