Jordan Rushby says he enjoyed a ‘mega weekend’ at his home track praising mechanic Alan Tanton for his great work all weekend at Cadwell Park in the Thundersport (GB) 2014 Championship.
Following a good test on Saturday afternoon and a decent qualify session on Sunday the Beverley rider acheived 13th on the grid.
Commenting on the races that followed Rushby said;
“ In Sundays race I got a good start and had a great battle all race to finish 8th overall and 5th in class.”
“The first race on Monday I got a jump start penalty of 10 seconds for anticipating the start. I had to dig in and fought hard all race to work my way up to 9th on track. A good result as even with the penalty I managed to finish 13th overall.”
“I got a better start in the final race and on the last lap went from p10 to p9. Going into Mansfield, I pushed to get onto the back of 8th place rider and had a dash to the line to claim 8th overall and 4th in class.”
“I would like to thank my team A.I.Joinery racing for everything. My mechanic Alan Tanton did a mega job all weekend, and my family for their support.”
“ I’d also like to thank everyone who came and supported me, it was so nice to see how much support me and the team had.”
Rushby returns to action in the Thundersport (GB) 2014 Championship on June 20th & 21st, the rider siply said;
“Roll on Oulton Park.”
