The summer holidays are not far away which means only one thing, it is time for the annual Beverley Minster Primary School Summer Fair.
A fun event for all the family which is open to all whether you are connected to the Beverley Minster Primary School or not.
Louise Barrett from the Friends of Minster School who help raise funds for the benefits of the school and its pupils said;
“There will be bouncy castles and slides, craft activities, stalls, balloon modelling and much more. You can walk the Minster School Woodland Treasure Trail or listen to stories being told in the fantastic wooden Viking boat.”
“For anyone who has ever fancied learning circus skills will also have the chance to do that that too at the Summer Fair, it will certainly be lots of fun.”
For the first time the fair will be opened up to the public, Louise said;
“Traditionally this has been an event for people with links to the school but this year we are opening it to everyone and hope they come along. Entry is free and there is lots to do and see.”
On the day refreshments will include a Yorkshire Cream Tea served in the school hall, there and also a hot dog van.
Other refreshments will also be available o the day, Louise added;
“A school fair would not be complete without an ice-cream stall and a Cake stall too. The cake stall is always a well-attended and stocked with a selection of cakes which have being made and donated by the Minster School pupils and their parents.”
“The Minster School fair is great fun for all the family, this event is a great fundraiser for the Friends of Beverley Minster School so any support is welcomed.”
Beverley Minster Primary School Summer Fair will take place on July 4th between 2.30 and 4pm.
Visitors to event are advised car parking is restricted to on street parking.
