Spec appeal
Depending on how the new Vivaro is to be used – as a robust workhorse, a sophisticated company vehicle or a comfortable large-capacity passenger carrier -the latest version of Vauxhall’s multi award-winning van range is now available in two trim levels: Vivaro and Vivaro Sportive, and four body styles: panel van, double cab, 9-seater combi and platform cab. Customers can also choose from a selection of eleven colours.
More cargo and cabin space is offered, with a maximum load volume of 8.6m3, whilst Vauxhall’s range of all-new turbo diesels delivers class-leading economy and low emissions.
The family of frugal 1.6-litre turbo diesels come with a six-speed manual gearbox and give power output from 90PS to 140PS. Two variants, the 90PS and 115PS units, are equipped with a single variable geometry turbocharger while the 120PS and 140PS engines use sequential BiTurbo technology.
The result is a best-in-class combined cycle consumption and CO2 emissions – just 47.9mpg and 155g/km (preliminary data) with the ecoFLEX technology.
