Amanti the award winning shop based on Wednesday Market in Beverley is to close after eight years of trading in the Historic Market Town.
The owners broke the news this evening on their official Facebook and Twitter pages, the note read;
‘HUGE news. We’re closing down! Off to new adventures… We’ll be closed tomorrow (Friday) to get ready for our giant closing down sale which will start on Saturday. Absolutely EVERYTHING will be reduced so come and see us on Saturday and grab yourself a bargain!’
Amanti have been keen ambassadors of the small independent retailer and their closure will be a real loss to Beverley.
Amanti was opened back in 2006 by after founders Amalia and Antony inspired over a glass or two of wine one spring evening, threw in their jobs and opted for a new life.
Offering gorgeous & unusual gifts, stylish homewares and furniture customers will get a chance to grab a bargain this weekend as the pair move onto pastures new.
Sad to see this shop close, but wish the owners every success in their future endeavours
