Julie Short was named Best Dressed Lady at this year’s Beverley Races Ladies Day.
From Beverley the fashion designer beat off competition from thousands of ladies to win the coveted prize.
Her black and white outfit was topped off by a bespoke Hatinator that Julie herself had crafted.
She said;
“I am absolutely amazed, this type of thing never happens to me. To be picked out is just lovely, I am totally delighted.”
Julie started her fashion business Devine Fascination earlier in the year with Jenny Stephenson and
today both of them attended Beverley Races in Julie’s designs.
Her husband was unable to go to the races as he was busy working. Steve who is owns Steve Short Plumbing and Heating said his wife was ‘very excited’ about winning.
The couple are plan to go for a meal and enjoy a night around the town to celebrate Julie’s good fortune.
