Beverley Town Cricket Club are celebrating after lifting the Intermediate XI Cup at the Norwood Recreation Ground.
Batting first in front of a good home support Beverley set the visitors, Castleford a target of 175 to win.
Rob Fish was the star with the bat putting on a score of 51 off just 69 balls, at which point he had to retire from the game.
In reply Castleford managed 127 runs, as Beverley won the match thanks to a catch by Greg Whyley to cue the celebrations.
Skipper Jamie Roe was delighted with the win putting it down to a solid all round performance.
