A Christmas Carol : Auditions Being Held For Historic Performance

East Riding Theatre is looking for passionate, enthusiastic members of the community to volunteer as extra performers in the theatre’s opening production of A Christmas Carol.

Adapted for the stage by Vincent Regan and directed by Mike Friend A Christmas Carol is looking for people that would like to audition to be a part of this ambitious new production.

Lesley Downie from East Riding Theatre said;

“Our auditions are quite informal, please come along and be prepared to sing a verse from carol of your choice unaccompanied, and act a little.”

“No previous experience is necessary and auditions are open to anyone aged 16 to 160. This is a real chance to be part of the drama and become a little part of ERT’s history!”

Auditions will be held on Saturday 18th October from 10am – 1pm at ERT – 10 Lord Roberts Road, Beverley, HU17 9BE.

Those who are wanting to go should email marketing.eastridingtheatre@gmail.com with your name, age, contact details to register for an audition slot. Registration for auditions needs to be in by Thursday 16 October.

A Christmas Carol runs from Wednesday 17th December 2014 until Saturday 3rd January 2015 totalling 23 performances. It is requested that anyone who auditions are available for all the shows and the rehearsals.

Tickets for A Christmas Carol start from £10 – £17.50 and a family ticket(4) for just £57, with generous concessions and can be purchased online at www.eastridingtheatre.co.uk.
