As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announce a ‘spare’ on the way, what does this mean for Prince Harry?
Penny Junor’s latest biography charts the ‘hidden’ Prince and the true story behind the many tabloid reports.
Called ‘the spare’ by his mother Diana, Penny charts the journey of a troubled child and teenager who has become a celebrated leader of men, a soldier, a pilot, an adventurer and a passionate champion of those who are in danger of being destroyed or forgotten.
Described in the past as ‘vile’ and ‘evil’ for her biographies, expect some robust debate from bestselling broadcaster and biographer, Penny Junor, as her sharp eye turns to the charismatic and charming Prince Harry. She will be in Beverley on Friday (10 October) as part of the Beverley Literature Festival.
Dorcas Taylor, festival director, said:
“What Penny doesn’t know about the Royal Family isn’t worth knowing, and we’re looking forward to some fascinating insights into the private life of Britain’s most famous and scrutinised family. This is the first authoritative biography on Prince Harry, and we’re delighted she could join us to discuss it.”
