Future students of all ages can find out more about what East Riding College has to offer at three open events in November.
They are aimed at young people and adults who are thinking about studying for BTEC diplomas, A-levels, Apprenticeships, Traineeships, degrees and other courses from September 2015.
They are also an opportunity to find out about the range of full and part-time courses which start in January, including full-time courses for young people who are not currently in education or anyone who would like to start a course in the new year.
The open events are a chance to talk to tutors, discuss course options and have a look round the College’s well-equipped and modern learning environments.
They will be held as follows:
•Tuesday November 11 – Gallows Lane, Beverley, 4pm to 7pm
•Tuesday November 11 – 228 Spring Bank, Hull, 4pm to 7pm, specifically for music and performing arts courses
•Tuesday, November 18 – St Mary’s Walk, Bridlington, 4pm to 7pm
Principal Derek Branton said;
“This is the time of year when year 11 pupils are thinking about their next steps after their GCSEs and adults are considering their options for progressing in their careers.”
“Our open events are a relaxed and informal opportunity to talk to our friendly and knowledgeable tutors about what is on offer at East Riding College, from full-time programmes and higher level degree courses to learning as a hobby.”
There will be tutors present from all subject areas who will answer questions and chat about the courses, as well as help with completing application forms.
