Budding artists who live in Hull and East Yorkshire have the chance to see their work exhibited as part of the 18th Annual East Riding Open Art Exhibition.
This year’s showcase takes place from Friday, 5th December and runs until Saturday, 7th February at Beverley Art Gallery.
Artists are being invited to enter this popular competition where a panel of independent judges will select the works to form the exhibition.
Exhibited works will also be judged for individual prizes, including the Selector’s First Choice, Highly Commended and the People’s Choice.
Prizes have been sponsored by Roberts & Speight Wine Merchant & Delicatessen, the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Nigel Walker from Creation Fine Arts who this summer brought the very successful ‘Off the Wall’ event to Beverley.
Gallery curator Gerardine Mulcahy-Parker said:
“This is always a popular exhibition because of the variety and quality of the work we receive from artists.”
“From oil and watercolour to glass and ceramics, the judges often have a difficult job in choosing the final pieces.”
Entry forms are available from the Beverley Treasure House first floor reception or online at www.museums.eastriding.gov.uk.
Any one wishign to enter their works can do so between Wednesday 19th until Friday, 21st November.
