Ever Wanted To Be Mary In The Nativity And Not Been Picked?

St Mary's Church, Beverley

This year St Mary’s Church will open for the afternoon before the Christmas Lights Switch-on in Beverley.

We will be transforming the Church crypt into a crib scene and children will be able to dress up as various different characters from the Nativity and become part of the Crib Scene.

There will be various other festive fun for children including face painting, bouncy castle and making Christmas tree decorations.

There will be craft stalls, live music and tours of the bell tower with access to the roof (weather permitting) for one of the best views over Beverley. We will be serving refreshments too, including homemade soup to warm you up and lovely homemade cakes.

The Beverley Lights Switch On is becoming a major event in the Town’s Christmas activities. This year the town will have live music, a vintage fun fair, an ice rink, an outdoor cinema and a giant snow globe.

Why not come into St. Mary’s Church, on North Bar Within, to warm up with a drink and get involved in the various activities taking place.

There is no entrance fee.
